Skinning and displaying the Media Library

Postby Hobby » 03 Oct 2010 09:01

Hey guys! Relative noob to skinning and VLC here! I'm interested in doing home theater appropriate skin of VLC but before I get started, I wanted to ask a question about the media library.

As near as I can tell, the current version of the player does not support thumbs of files/folders within the media library(supposed to be available v1.2) but can the current version(or v1.2) be made to display the media library as a "grid" as opposed to a "list"? I looked through the skin editor(and others skins) briefly and did not see any provision to make this happen. It would be sweet if VLC could display audio and video libraries much like AlbumPlayer and Winamp display music album folders. :D

Thanks
