VLC RTMP receive audio stream from Flash

After discovering VLC now supports receiving RTMP. I have a very quick question about the possibility of such setup.

Is it possible for a flash application to connect to VLC via NetConnection and have flash send video / audio over RTMP? Or microphone audio more specifically

May sound ridiculous, I need to receive microphone audio from a flash client into VLC. Any suggestions?

Since VLC supports RTMP, I would imagine it already negotiates with a RTMP server. Is it possible to simulate a RTMP server to receive incoming requests.
