Jumpy MP4 playback.

Postby toffey » 29 Aug 2010 02:05

MP4 file videos playback jumpy. Seem to skip. Audio is OK. All other videos are fine (flv, wmv, etc,). The same MP4 files play fine on other players but I want to use VLC as my one and only player for all media. Thanks.....

Could you share us more details from that file? (like what video codec it uses, what resolution etc.)

By changing the 'skip H.264 in-loop deblocking filter' to ALL, mp4 now works great. So do all other types: divx, mkv, wmv, flv.
Thank you so very much. VLC is now my main player for all types.
