Hi *

According to the VLC homepage at
http://www.videolan.org/streaming/features.html
, VLC is only able to RTP stream in RAW format.

But, a video file in mpeg2 format can easy be stream in TS format by the command:
vlc video1.avi --sout rtp/ts:157.254.120.159:20000
, so I presume that the webpage in out of data ?

Second, is VLC obey the standard RFC 2250, when streaming mpeg2 video over RTP protocol?

Third, VLC are also able to stream MP4 over rtp according to the documentation, but what standard describe the method?
