How to Increase OSD Time?

Postby Itay » 04 Jun 2010 08:06

Hello

I am using VLC and it's a great player!!

I would like to make the OSD Time to be increased, by 2 or even 3 times than what it is now.

Where can I find a setting for it?

Thank you

Itay

hi

well,
specifically I mean,
when pressing "t", to see the Position you are in the movie, and the Time Passed and Time Left.

it's very short, it disappears very fast in my opinion,
I would like to set it to be twice or 3 times as much...

can it be done?

I think it is hardcoded to value 1000000 which is same as 1 second.

and now it's 8 years even later and this is becoming a larger problem as trying to use touchscreens with VLC in full screen mode is no longer a fun game. Please make this a setting rather than hard coded to 1 second which is almost useless on a large touchscreen.
