VLC stops playing problem

Postby sp1ke » 11 May 2010 14:44

Hi, I'm watching a video in VLC which lasts 3 hrs, now at some point in the video there is a small error, or a very small part is missing, Windows MP just continues the video with a brief video fuzziness and some pixelating but it immediately continues playing normally, however when VLC reaches that point it stops the playback immediately, what I want to know is if there is a way to force VLC to keep playing so it doesn't stop, only way is for me to manually skip that small part which lasts less than a second. The file is a 720p movie in *.mkv format. :?:

I doubt there is anything that you can do... Sorry.

Remuxing the file with MKVtoolnix should fix the problem.
