VLC Player Question

Hi,

I was wondering on how can I start VLC player from my MP3 archive at lets say at 00:20:00?

In other words, I dont want the player to start at the very beginning. I want it to start at 00:20:00.

Is there a way of making it start at that time from my recorded archive?

I also can use Audacity and just only record that section of the audio time from there....And then saving it as an MP3...If there is no way to make VLC player to start the recorded MP3 archive from a specific time section like stated above...
