Broadcasting Project

Postby renaudb » 02 May 2010 00:54

Hi,

I would like to know if it would be possible to do the following project using VLC, and how could I make it work. I would like to have a computer set up as a server, so other computers over internet could connect to the VLC webinterface, open local files on the server, and then be able to listen/watch the files being played, using streaming. Basically it would like a WebRadio where users can choose controls the source.

The point would be to listen to my music and watch my videos that are on my computer at home from any computers connected.

Thanks!

Yes, but you need some development for this.
