get rid of mkv osd

Postby Nhil » 30 Apr 2010 10:39

During mkv's hd movies playback ( and only with them) i got the movie progress( a sort of chapters info and movie time) displayed on lower side of the screen.
I'm trying to remove it, but even tough i set no osd i still cannot get rid of it.
I have the same problem on ubunto and Windows xp.
Any ideas?

Are you sure, this isn't in the movie?

Please upload a short sample of a file showing this behaviour on some file sharing site like Rapidshare or Megaupload.

THANK YOU VERY MUCH!
problem solved.
I tried to cut a segment and opened it on vlc, and all played w/o any problem, so, long story short...near each movies there were text files with list of the chapters and other info, deleting these files i didn't get the writing on screen.
I think Vlc saw them as a subtitle files.
Thank you again.
