VLC Record function?

VLC Record function?

Can someone please guide me with the VLC record function, i have a fairly new version of VLC which lets me record the video that is being played on HOWEVER the problem is i can only record a minute of the video.. and iv looked in settings and everything but it cant seem to find the option to validate the MAXIMUM VIDEO LENGHT TO RECORD.. can someone kindly suggest anything???? :!: :!: :!: :!: Thanks in advance....

Tell us more about your OS, the VLC version used, your hardware.
And post the command line you are using and also post the full messages log with verbosity set to 2.

Your OS is your Operating System, for example, Windows XP, Windows Vista, etc.
And the VLC version you use is, for example VLC 1.0.5.

You have to write these in your question to make it more specific, which will enable people to post the solution.
