Certain shoutcast (listen.pls) streams not working

I have the following stream which does not work on vlc (and cvlc) http://dhc.uber1337.nl:8800/listen.pls. For now I found out
that:

Not working:

• VLC 1.1.0 (linux)
  VLC 1.0.5 (windows)

Works on:

• Mplayer (linux)
  Xine (linux)
  Winamp (windows)
  Gstreamer (linux)
  Itunes (mac)

On the server access log I see:
