PLEASE HELP CONVERT DVD(XSPF) TO MPEG

I've spent ALL afternoon been trying to convert a (homemade, not by me)DVD xspf to a mpeg format so I may upload to FaceBook. ARRRRGH, I'm Clueless and having a "Senior Moment"! Can 1 of You Tech Savvy Folks please assist this "Old Disabled Woman" accomplish this. I select it to convert to mpeg , specify destination and it starts Streaming but I NEVER get the Converted File. It's probably something really basic that my "petrified grey matter" can't comprehend. Any and All suggestions are Appreciated!

DVD are already in MPEG format natively (each VOB file inside is a MPEG-PS file).
