VLC stream without local play

I'm running the newest VLC on Fedora Core 12. I'm attempting to stream a DVB-T source (configed via channels.conf) via http. My problem is how is this done without requiring local playback on the machine with the tuners (I want to http stream from here to various clients). I'm a noob at using vlc and cvlc. Can you tell me what command to run to http stream from channels.conf?
