Video terminates when skipping ahead.

Hello I have had this problem with all the vlcs that I have tried this on, (1-1.1git). This problem occurs on windows and linux. Basically while watching certain types of wmv files the video crashes when I try to skip ahead. (VLC doesn't crash).
Here is the codec information:

Here's the error I get in the console:

I'm not quite sure what other information is needed please let me know.
