command line for second display (external monitor, dual)

Postby miitiicoo » 10 Mar 2010 08:54

Hi all!
in 2 days research i didn't find a solution..
I need to use a player that can show me MOV files directly to the DISPLAY2,in fullscreen mode and without any subtitles..
Anyway,i searched many and many players with the command line options, but vlc seems to be the only that could help me.
For that problem many people suggest to drag the vlc on the second display and from that moment all the videos will be displayed there.
I cannot ask that to my clients.
I need absolutely something that works fine and without anything that i have to ask them... they will need only double click on my batch file, that
will open automatically the mov file and show it on second display
i tried with
vlc --directx-device={}
but if i open the program on display1, it will show always video on display1.
If i drag on the display2, from that moment it will show on second display.
Possible that there is not a command line that FORCE to play video on second display?!?!?
i can't believe!
please help me
thank you
