I am currently streaming LIVE TV from my Dreambox and outside to the internet using a HTML page with following coding:

I am using the following settings in my stream:
Output Method: MMSh
Encapsulation: ASF
Video Codec: WM2
Video Bitrate: 2048
Scale: 0,5
Audio Codec: MP3
Audio Bitrate: 128
Audio Channel: 1
Caching: 1200ms
Dreambox VLC Streamer 1.2 lets me also choose from the following Output Settings:
Output methods: HTTP, MMSh, RDP, RTP
Encapsulations: PS, MPG1, ASF, OGG, MP4, MOV, WAV, RAW
Video Codecs: MP1v, MP2v, MP4v, DIV1, DIV2, DIV3, H263, H264, WMV1, WMV2, MJPEG, THEO
Scales: 0.25, 0.50, 0.75, 1.0, 1.25, 1.50, 1.75, 2.0
Audio Codecs: MPGa, MP2a, A52, VORB, FLAC, SPx, S16I, FL32
What is the best way to stream by selecting from the various Codecs and Encapsulations and also let it function with my homepage HTML active X ?
Is there a better way then my HTML coding to show the video on my homepage? Like flash, Silverlight or something else?
