Subtitles are not Loading

Here is my issue:

When I select one movie file, the subtitle file (usually an srt file) load and i can watch the file without issue.
When I select open folder with that movie in it (among others all with their own subtitles perfectly named to match the title of the file they are related to) no subtitles appears on the video.
When I use the Playlist to add a folder with several movie files (each with their subtitles), once again no subtitles are displayed on any of the files.
If there is even only one file in the folder with its matching subtitle, then, opening the folder instead of the file, or adding the folder to the playlist doesn't display the subtitles.
On the other hand, adding the files to the playlist, instead of adding the full folder does display the subtitles.

So the issue is that the Open Folder doesn't consider the subtitles at all.
