automatically capture images from movies?

automatically capture images from movies?

Postby dschei-eidsch » 02 Feb 2010 21:09

Hi,

I have a large amount of movie files (each about 90 minutes minimal length; DVB-S transport streams if that's of any relevance). For each of theses movies, I want to extract - let's say - 10 discontinuous (i.e. non consecutive) frames from all over the movie and save them each in a png file. (How) can I accomplish this with VLC in an automated way?

Thanks
