Cannot upgrade to vlc 1.0.3 in Karmic

Running Ubuntu Karmic Koala and have vlc 1.0.2 Goldeneye.
Because of audio problems, I'm trying to upgrade to 1.0.3

in /etc/apt/sources.list I have

http://download.videolan.org/pub/videolan/debian/ karmic main universe multiverse

when I update resources, I get

Failed to fetch http://download.videolan.org/pub/videol ... ackages.gz 404 Not Found

Even when I try command-line update, I get the same thing.

What's going wrong?
