Skip some parts of the video - scripting or playlist?

For questions and discussion that is NOT (I repeat NOT) specific to a certain Operating System.

Skip some parts of the video - scripting or playlist?

Postby popeye » 24 Jan 2010 10:15

I would like be able to specify (through a playlist or some script?) that some parts of the video for a specific file need to be skipped (say from 12:51 to 16:45 and from 32:21 to 58:16). How can I do this?

thanks,
VR

I've been told that this isn't possible. But if you find a solution some where else, please post back here, I would be interested in knowing if that was possible. It would be great if we could use the play lists from windows media player. I know there we can do it perfectly, even with fail overs and everything.... But I hate M$soft.... LoL
