dual audio glitch plus bsod ??

there is a known glitch with vlc where on certain files with multiple audio or subtitle tracks the program will freeze at the end of the file. now i normally simply kill the process and restart. this time after i killed the process i clicked on the vlc icon and imediatly one of the nvidia driver files threw a 1000008e stop. is this somthing to do with improperly terminating vlc the first time or do you think it is unrelated
