VLC DVB-T settings problem..

Postby bf1 » 20 Dec 2009 19:14

Hi sorry if this is in the incorrect part of the forum.

I have Windows XP SP3,
A Hauppage WinTV Nova T-stick 3,
& VLC.

The problem I have been experiencing is: Open VLC (I have version 1.0.3 goldeneye), Media > Open Capture Device > Select DVB Direct Show > under the options section fill in the Transponder / Multiplex frequency as 802 kHz, then Click the Advanced Options button to input the Transponder / Multiplex frequency as 802000HZ, then click OK, then click play and nothing happens :(

This used to work without any problems..

When I go to try input / check the settings, the advanced input of 802000 Hz has returned to 0

Help?

Thanks,
bf1

Multiplex frequency as 802000HZ
Use 802000000.
And also you must specify the bandwidth, usually 7 or 8.

Code: Select all

dvbt:// :dvb-frequency=802000000 :dvb-bandwidth=8

Thanks but no luck :(

Tried the above by copying in then going Media > Open Location from Clipboard and didn't work :(

Checking under the Capture Device Tab, the correct setting are there but on pressing the advanced options button, again the advanced settings are incorrect / reverted to the default zero values :?
