Jump forward in stream.

Postby Linuxxx » 07 Dec 2009 22:04

Hello, i've just got a VOD server going here. And almost all works great. The only problem is that if the stream dies on the client side, and it has to be restarted the stream will start at 00:00:00, without any chance to jump ahead 1 hour or so.

Is there a way to solve this?

The stream is over http and bandwidth is no problem.

Maybe only RTSP allows that.
