VLC and VB6

Hi I am a newbie here. I have been visiting this forums on and off... but today I finally took the plunge and joined it

How can I play Live Video stream in VLC and record it in vb6? Any pointers/links would be of great help....

If this has been discussed before, I am sorry I couldn't find it...

You can insert AxVLCPluginV2 on a form of your VB6 project. It is an ActiveX which create some binding with VLC.

You will not be able to record. This feature use --sout option which is disabled on activex frontend for security reasons (one may use it through a webpage to mess your computer).
