how to get the latest nightly build link?

hi.
it seems to me that there is something wrong with nightly builds file organisation on page http://nightlies.videolan.org/build/win32/
cause in directory http://nightlies.videolan.org/build/win32/latest/ and http://nightlies.videolan.org/build/win32/trunk-/ the "latest" version has date 24-Apr-2009 but i found that true latest version is located there http://nightlies.videolan.org/build/win ... 1104-0004/.
thus its simply impossible to have the link on latest nightly build cause http://nightlies.videolan.org/build/win32/latest/ is outdated and i didnt find any text files in the root of http://nightlies.videolan.org/build/win32/ from which the right link could be extracted...
so how to get the latest nightly build link?

Get the latest Branch build for the 1.0.x version
Get the latest Trunk build for the next upcoming 1.1 version.

thank you for your answer. actually i understood how to do it manually.
my task is to compare the best free video players for the project about free and useful software tools called usetools http://usetools.net.
now there are two video players that were chosen as the most useful which are media player classic home cinema and kmplayer.
but i noticed some problems connected with opening of some video formats for both of them and decided to find alternative...
according to the project rules new application couldnt be added to the main software list and the main free software package without tests based on real practical usage by different users on different computers. but it could be added to the special test-pilot category as optional download. the main condition of this category is the most recent application version (thats why it is called test-pilot).
so it's necessary to make available vlc-player for users to test and to taste it and thats why i need automated way (cmd and wget) of getting the latest nightly build...
