How to disable VLC player?

Most of the time, I want VLC Player as my #1 playback option. Occasionally, however, I will enter a streaming site, and will prefer to use Quicktime Pro to save and encode certain videos.

However, when I click on a play link, the VLC software automatically starts up, and there's no way to select Quicktime. Specifically, when I access this site:
http://sound-tv.net/artists/miracle/
the videos go immediately to VLC player. I want them to start with Quicktime. Any way to fix this? Thanks!
