How to use libvlc.dll "reference error in visual studio"

Hi everybody,
I'm facing a problem..when I am adding a reference to libvlc.dll I have the following error "a reference to libvlc.dll could not be added".
How can I solve my problem?
I have taken the pluging folder and I've pasted it in my project folder and I have created a folder named "lib" in wich I have pasted libvlc.dll and libvlccore.dll.ù
I'm developing a small application in C# and i'd like to use this dll.
