Setting up a special streaming server...

Postby BigMan » 08 Jan 2005 12:56

After a couple of days of decoding the output of "--longhelp --advanced", searching the forum and doing experiments with and without VLM I decided to start this topic and hope smb helps. So, here's what I need:

-I want to receive a copule of streams via HTTP and allow people to connect to my system and read them (via HTTP again);

-I want this to happen on a WinXP Pro system all the time it is up (i.e. no matter whether smb is logged in or not);

Is it possible to achieve this with the latest version of VLC and if so please explain how. Sample config files (if applicable) will be highly appreciated!
