occasional start in full screen bug

Postby cybmole » 26 Sep 2009 08:31

VLC 1.01. video renderer dirext x ( i.e. the one which allows wallpaper mode). Xp pro - 1360 x 768 screen. playing xvid/divx .avi files

I have VLC set to start in full screen & mostly it does that, no problem

but occaisionally it takes over the full screen but then puts the video into top left hand corner without expanding it. i.e. I see a zoomed to 1x size video in top left on an otherwise black screen - rather than a screen filling video.

I can fix it quickly by just double clicking twice, to toggle out & back in to fulls creen - but any ideas why this sometimes happens.

Yep, confirmed, it also happens to me too from time to time.
With any video format using any container.
