How to converting video quickly?

Hi,

I'm not sure if there is a way to speed up the conversion process. Right now, if I have a 2-hour video, it would take 2 hours to convert it, even though I have a competent CPU and hard disk. It seems like it converts second-by-second instead of frame-by-frame.

Is there a way to speed up the conversion process?
