Skipping Credits/Intros?

Postby sephff9 » 26 Aug 2009 08:51

I had to register just to ask this question, as I am eternally stumped. I want to watch more than one episode in a series back to back. I have no remote and my PC patches through to the living room. This means I have two choices, sit through the same exact ending and intro theme 20+ times back to back, or get up, walk across the house, and hit next and then use ctrl/shift to skip the intro. Both of these are an insane pain in the ass.

So down to my question:
Is it possible to set VLC to start, say, 00:01:35 into the video and end 00:01:30 or so before the end? Just to skip the pesky credits?

--start-time sets the initial time offset (but I think it's broken in 1.0.0 and 1.0.1)
