VLC since 1.0.0 ActiveX adjust filter

Hi,

i've been coding a media center for windows for a while now and since version 1.0.0 the parameter :video-filter=adjust and :gamma=1.9 doesn't have any effect. I tried using the command line with --video-filter=adjust --gamma=1.9 and it works fine. Just the activex-control doesn't work the way I expected. Have some names changed since 1.0 or is there another way to brighten the video with the control?
I know this is the general VLC forum but I thought this might be a general issue not just a windows one.
