Any sign of a Windows 7 fix ?

I just wondered if there is any sign of a permanent windows 7 fix ? It's horribly blocky / pixalated. Works OK if you switch to directx output but that disabled aero.

isnt this win7 problem? i have this blocky picture isue too. WMP, light alloy, vlc - same blocky pictures. tried reinstaling monitor drivers, tweaking sharpnes, contrast, brightnes - no efect. seems like directx output fixes this. win7 poped me a mesage saysing sth about color schemes have been changed (to w7 basic) by vlc request. thanks god vlc can do that opengl output works best for me. no flashing color changes required

There will be at least better workaround before Windows 7 hits the stores. But I am still keeping my hopes up that they fix the display drivers.
