1.0.0: elapsed time in status bar is replaced by "buff"

when scrubbing (dragging handle) or changing position (clicking), in both cases what you want to see is the time not a useless "buff" message. If this buffering status is to be displayed at all it should be in a different label so as not to hide the time. I believe this is a regression.

Surely it's better, more useful to show the time as you drag the progress slider than "buff." Can anyone from VLC comment.
