HTTP interface DTD or schemas; HTTP shutdown command

Apologies for the double-post, I think I put this in the wrong sub-forum originally.


Are there any DTD or XML schema files available for the XML returned in response to commands in the HTTP interface? I can't find any in either my VLC installation nor in any documentation on the VideoLan site.

Also, this page - http://wiki.videolan.org/Documentation: ... _Interface - lists a command "shutdown" for the control macro, but this does not seem to work as a URL. Is this functionality actually available, and if so, how do I get it working as a URL?
