Something I miss from WMP is the fact that when you select a new movie to play, and there is already one running in the background, the active window remains on the folder where you double-clicked movie to play it, rather than bring the movie window straight to the top/front of all the others windows/boxes,applications. You have to always go down to toolbar at bottom, or ATL+TAB to bring it into view.
Is this a VLC thing or a Windows thing?

by-they-way: I cannot do the frame by frame advance on the latest vlc 1.0.0 win32. Pressing the E button normally ends up freezing VLC
