Saving Rotated Video

Postby JackShadow » 02 Jul 2009 01:50

So some family members recorded their daughters recital with the video camera tilted to the side. So the whole performance is rotated 90 degrees. I have no problems watching it in VLC with the settings: Extended Settings -> Video Effects -> Transform -> Rotate by 90 Degrees.

But how do I SAVE or CONVERT the video so it shows that way in other players?

When I step through the Convert process in VLC 0.9.9 the conversion works fine (for the Encoders I have) but the video is still Rotated.

Thanks.

Regrettably, you cannot apply these filters to our transcoding chain. These are for playback only for now.
