vlc in a only window

Hi,

I have vlc but when I open a video I see 2 windows: one with the movie and other one whith the controls (play, stop, pause ....). I would like how to configure to have only a window where I have the movie and the controls.

I have kubuntu 9.04 and when I do "sudo apt-get update" the last version that I can have it's 0.9.9.
Any help?
