PLAYING WAV FILE

Postby JFS » 21 May 2009 00:30

I have embedded VLC in a VB 2005 program. On my desktop, I can play .wav files in VLC. But within my VB 2005 program, VLC will not play .wav files (although the embedded VLC does play .mp3 and ALAC files).

How can I get the embedded VLC to play .wav files, as it can on the desktop?

No, the wav file just does not play. If I put a wav file first in a playlist with an .m4a or mp3 file, there is silence for the length of the wav file, followed by the player playing the .m4a or mp3 file.
