directing a stream to one of multiple NICs on my server

Postby mng3532 » 01 Dec 2004 19:45

Just started playing with this today.

I have a server with two ethernet ports (NICs).

How do I direct the stream to a specific NIC on my server? I don't see any place to identifiy a specific NIC that I want the stream to go to.

Thanks.

This is matter of routing - you must enable multicast routing on server.

just specify ip:port instead :port in sout

Return to “VLC stream-output (sout)”
