How to auto-repair *.avi files (if necessary)?

For questions and discussion that is NOT (I repeat NOT) specific to a certain Operating System.

How to auto-repair *.avi files (if necessary)?

Postby thoste » 08 May 2009 19:09

Occasionally I am showing digital camera videos with VLC and it occurs that at startup VLC informs me that the
*.avi files needs a "repair". I have to explicitely click on "repair" button to start repair.

Is there an option which does this repair (if necessary) automatically (at startup) ?
