HD stream information resolution

Postby Efcis » 27 Apr 2009 21:55

Hi

I'm currently testing VLC 1.0.0-pre2 (20090423-2203) with HD streams provided by my ISP (Free - in France). So far, so good !

But, the media information window displays a 1280 x 1024 resolution, whereas it is clearly a 16/9 stream on my screen ?! Also, when making a screenshot, it _is_ done with this resolution, and so, it is horizontally compressed, compared to the original image.

Did I miss something ?

Also, another annoying small issue : I set the default deinterleave setting as "Bob" in the preferences dialog, but unfortunately it is always reset to None when starting VLC (or changing channel). Looks like this setting is not saved ?!

Thanks !

If it is an anamorphic stream, then it is a known issue. For de-interlace, http://wiki.videolan.org/WindowsFAQ-0.9 ... _method.3F
