Super basic question...

Postby llmunro » 14 Apr 2009 07:14

Hi,

I'm quite new to VLC, so please forgive the newbie-type question. Here's what I'm wondering: can I play video from the web (youtube, etc.) via VLC on a computer without the flash player installed? I lack the adminstrative privelege to install anything on my work computer and subsequently can't play any video, which makes me crazy. If this is possible, how might be the simplest way to go about this?

Thanks much.
Cheers.
LLM

Take latest VLC. Paste the complete Youtube URL inside VLC network open.
Profit.
