"Arte +7"-wmv-Streams: divx-convert bad, others don't work

When I try to save a wmv-stream from http://plus7.arte.tv/ , which play fine with the vlc-player. I can only save the stream using the mpeg4/divx-profile, but the quality is quite poor: the picture is most of the time scrambled. Anyway: I just want to save the stream in its origin format, but that won't work at all. I thought, this could be done by checking "raw" ... but I just get the same error message, as I get with using any profile but mpeg4/divx: Can't identify input format.

Trying to save the flv-Stream would give that error message on every profile.

Any hints where to go for a working solution?

Have your tried just streaming (without any profile) to an ASF container with no transcode options for both audio and video? Also do you have an direct link to a stream as an example?
