Problem converting files with NEW VLC version...

Hi,

I tried to follow the tutorial about converting flv to mp4 format, but I have VLC NEW version and nothing happens.

These are the steps I follow:

. MEDIA > CONVERT/SAVE, then choose my video (.flv)
. I click "Convert/Save"
. I check "File" and choose a filename output
. Encapsulation = MP4 ; Video codec = MPEG-4, bitrate = 1024kb/s, scale = 1 ; Audio codec = MP3, bitrate = 192kb/s, scale = 2
. Then I click "SAVE"

...And there... nothing happens... absolutely nothing.

What do I do wrong?

can vlc can convert .flv files to anything?

is there a one or two word example?
