error withe compiling vlc using cygwin 1.7

Dear all

Am trying to compile vlc on the cygwin v1.7 and i get this error or warning :

Auto-importing has been activated without --enable-auto-import specified on the command line This should work unless it involves constant data structure referencing symbols from auto-import dlls

Which lead me to get undefined reference error all the time is that error in cygwin or what?
Can anybody help me and thanks.
