undo sout to udp

I was trying to rebroadcast a live stream from Cytv over udp using the --sout=udp... option, and it worked, but I found a better option and now I don't want to use vlc to rebroadcast anymore.

unfortunately, now I can't get VLC to show any video. i think it's still outputting to sout, but I can't find a switch to redirect the output back to on-screen video. can somebody help me out?

never mind, i found the problem, and it wasn't sout.
