That depends on your distribution. On Debian/Ubuntu:
apt-get install vlc-nox
apt-get install vlc-nox

Thank you for answering. I just askes my hosting tech support. By the way do you or any other professionals can do a VLC installation service for a fee including a Live broadcasting player?
