VLC interrupts Audio-ogg on my EEE-Box 202

Dear all

I use an EEE-Box with Intels 1.6 GHz Atom CPU and 2GB RAM. OS is XP-SP3. VLC is Version 0.9.8a
Some ogg coded audio files will be interruptd by VLC. The Counter on the right bottom corner of VLC stops, stays 8 seconds while VLC mute the output, then music and counter continues. The counter shows a step of 8 seconds.
Winamp plays this file correct on the same EEE-Box and my other PC with a 2.4 GHz Pentium (same OS, same VLC) also.
