VLC not working with AVerMedia DVD EZMaker PCI Deluxe

Postby Pericles » 25 Dec 2008 13:23

I used to be able to capture video from my VHS recorder by using my AVerMedia DVD EZMaker PCI Deluxe capture card and VLC.

I guess I did some subsequent recompilation of VLC or ffmpeg, the thing is now when I need to capture some video I cannot.

This is how my system (Ubuntu Feisty Fawn) successfully detects the card on startup:

Now, when I play the tape and try to display it in VLC (PVR tab), nothing is showed. This is the output of 'vlc -vvv':

Could anybody please help me to decipher those traces?
